Oh what to do?

I have wanted to blog for a long time but with us all being sick with strep and Jayden starting school and our computer broke it has been a little hard to sit down and get it down. So as I sit here on the chair with no one bothering me i though I could get one in. No one is bothering me because Madyson can peacefully watch TV without Jayden getting in her business because he started Preschool last week. It is only twice a week for 2 1/2 hours but I'll take it. Its sad to say but I wasn't sad at all to see him go and the house is quiet for 2 1/2 hours of the day and I can get some errands done without him. He was so excited to start school and loves it so far.

Jayden all ready for school

Besides Jayden going to school Payton has decided it was time for him to walk. He is now at the full on walking stage not hardly crawling at all anymore. He looks like such a big boy and still isn't perfect at it yet. He has picked up a few more words, he says mama, Dada, bye bye, ba ba, hot, and hi. I just realized that probably isn't a lot but he is getting there. He is so much fun but hates to be away from me, which drives me crazy. Little miss Madyson hasn't been up to much we took her to the doctor for the strep throat and she also had impetigo which looks really gross on her chin but she finally has hit the 26 pound mark (with her clothes on). We are so proud of her maybe by 5 she can be in a booster? She is defiantly a DIVA but we love her.

This was at Pineview she wasn't feeling good but I like the picture

Madyson being cute

I love this face we call it his Popeye face, he is always making this face

Treehouse Museum

While mom and Tracy were here we hit up the tree house museum. I had never been but knew of people who had so we decided to check it out. Its a little pricey but we went in the morning on Monday so it was a lot cheaper. The kids had a blast of course, there was so much to do, they had train tracks, a train you could crawl threw a bridge a giant tree you could go up and down, different houses like a China house (which of course Tana had to go in), a Germany house, a school house etc, music room, the oval office, a giant map of the united states, and they were building more. There was a lot to see and just two hours to do it. Jayden especially loved to trivia on the big map and brushing the giant teeth. Madyson liked the babies and the cribs they had for them and Payton was just happy to have a ton of room to crawl!

Madyson playing the drums in the music room (it was extra loud in there)

Madyson's tiny head poking out of the top of the desk in the oval office

Jayden sitting in the oval office with Obama by his side (I took one of Madyson too but it won't let me upload it but you get the idea)

The tree house has so much cool stuff I would recommend going! We went during toddler time (it was cheaper) and they sang songs, did story time, made a craft and had time to run free!

Jayden loves to play tea and he found the tea set right away in peter rabbits house. Jayden and Payton loved the train stuff but Payton didn't like the conductors hat it took like 25 pictures to get that one of him. And the big fire truck right when you walked in was a big hit too.

The Hogle Zoo

My mom and sister in-law Tracy and hooch all came out to visit in July. We had a lot of stuff planned so we could show them a good time. We went to the zoo, the tree house museum, the Roy pool and to BYU to see Tracy's friend. The first stop was the zoo, the kids had so much fun exploring and looking at all the animals! In one of the pictures Madyson looks like a tourist with her map out trying to figure out where to go next! Her and Landon spent a lot of time studying those maps! Thanks mom for such a good time!

Payton was so interested in that ugly monkey! Hooch is crazy

4th of July

Okay, okay i know it is almost a month late but its here at least! We didn't do much for the 4th, James worked and i trued to entertain the kids all day long. I went to dollar tree and bought them monster snaps and glow sticks. We walked over to our friends and neighbors house to watch them do fire works and wear our cool glow sticks. Jayden and Madyson had so much fun throwing the snaps on the ground. Madyson had to use her feet to stomp on them to make them snap, but she loved it! Right before we left to head over to our friends Payton fell down the stairs and was not feeling up to the fireworks so James took him back home after only a couple minutes. Jayden and Madyson also got to do sparklers which scared me a little because I knew Jayden would get burned and after 2 sparklers he did just that and freaked out!
Fourth of July! Stomping on their monster snaps

It's no wonder why Jayden got burnt he was flinging that thing around like crazy

The glow sticks!
We had a great time regardless of the stairs incident and the burn and we are so grateful to have such good friends and neighbors

Payton's first haircut

I realize that most of the stuff I have been needing to blog about has been all about Payton, but he is doing the most new things in his life right now. Right after his birthday I noticed how long and crazy his hair was getting. It was starting to curl in the back and on the sides which I loved but it was getting all ratted at the back, so I had to do it and I even did it myself. Because his hair is so blonde no one even knew it was as long as it was, so here are some before and after pictures!

Before

His hair was sooo long!

After
he looks so handsome after his bath all clean and no more long hair

He looks so sad in these last too but he was so tired after all that work he had to do by siting and eating a sucker while I cut his hair getting cleaned and playing in the bath tub and having to fight his mom to get dressed. It's so much work!

Happy Birthday Payton

Okay so Payton's birthday was the end of June but better late than never right? I can't believe he is already one, oh how time flies. WE had family and some friends over on the Sunday right after his birthday to help him eat cake and ice cream and to celebrate his big day with us. He got some jammies, a ball, a picnic table and some bath toys as his presents. We gave him his own cake and he wouldn't even touch it, I had to place his hands in it so he would try it. He never really got all that into it like the other two kids did but I think he had fun overall with all the attention he was getting.

Splash Park in California

We went one day to a splash pad that had two big parks right next to it so it was perfect for me, Jayden loves the water and the park and Madyson only likes the park, so I could sit and watch both of them without worrying if Jayden was going to drown because there was no pool! It was a really hot day and we needed to cool off a little. Courtney was nice enough to come help me manage 3 kids in a big place, it was so great to have the help. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back!!

My kids' cute little faces

Jayden kept trying to squirt everyone with the fish, he had a blast!

Playing on the park Madyson loved to look through the telescope thing and she "took some exercise" too
