Halloween

I decided to make all my kids costumes this year!  I know what was I thinking!  I also kind off made up what they were going to be without really asking them, I so nice :)  So I told the kids what they were going to be and they were all happy about it and no one complained, YAY!  Jayden was Mario, Madyson was princess peach and Payton was Luigi.  Decklan was originally going to be toad but after realizing he would be in a stroller and no one would see him it was  better for him to just stay home with daddy and pass out candy.  It wasn't the easiest to make their costumes but I think for my first attempt it was a quite good one and I was proud of myself.

October

I still trying to play catch up and I'm not doing such a great job. I'll try and hurry so I can make sure I get Christmas in by the beginning of January.  I love to do stuff with my kids so they have memories of it and hopefully can see that we did stuff as a family :)  So every year we do the pumpkin patch.  We did a family night and went to Black Island Farms.  We got to do a hayride and everyone got to pick a pumpkin, then they got to play in the yard area that has so much stuff.  They all did the cow train, the mini maze, slides, swings, corn box, bounce house and Payton even did the HUGE slide all by himself.  He is the bravest out of all my kids.  Somehow at the end of the night we ended up with 7 pumpkins,so I threw one away, I didn't want to give anyone a reason to think anything.

We carved Jayden and my pumpkin and then Madyson and Payton wanted to paint theirs. Jayden wanted a jack-o-lantern I told him he had to help draw it and scoop out the insides.  Well he didn't like it one bit and found it quite disgusting.  Of course the other kids made a giant mess cause they couldn't wait for me to be done with mine before they started.  Decklan just sat with his little pumpkin trying to eat it :)

I also cut Decklan's hair for the 2nd time cause it is so crazy and poofy, it sticks straight up no matter what we do.  So I took a couple pictures of it cut and spiky!

Septmeber

Decklan got diagnosed with Asthma :( and his first double ear infection.  He was so happy that the ear infection didn't even bother him, we had gone in for an asthma appointment and they saw it then.  Now that he is on medication for the asthma his breathing sounds so much better.  He also got weighed at that appointment and my mom has been so worried about his weight cause he is a BIG boy, at 7 months he was 20lbs 4oz, we love that chunky baby, he started sitting right before he turned 7 months and likes his jumper toy a lot (as long as he can see you).

We have been just enjoying the weather in September and not really doing all that much.  Just watching the kids learn and grow and enjoying my alone time with Decklan while all the kids are in school.  Church Volleyball started and I'm the coach so that takes my Saturday mornings and we are trying to hit the park as much as possible while the weather is good.  Sorry no pictures with this :(

August

The beginning of August was crazy, I went to Seven peaks in provo with my friends to celebrate my birthday since July is crazy, and then went to girls camp for 4 days with no shade and 90+ degree weather, so not cool! Payton started the head start program at the elementary school and loves it.  I guess in the last posts I haven't talked much about Decklan, he is seriously an extremely good baby, he is HUGE.  At six month check up he was 18lbs 12oz and 28 inches long.  He has continued to grow to be such a big boy.  I don't know if I ever talked about when he started sleeping through the night but it was at 3 months and it has been amazing.  Great sleeper, good eater, and happy, what more could you ask for?  We went to pineview resevoir in August with friends and to seven peaks a couple times this summer since we all had a pass.  We also had Ranae take our family pictures for us out at antelope island, and they turned out great.
