I have a great group of friends I must say. Friday night we went out for girl's night and had a blast roller skating and playing a game of good old laser tag. We all started out a little rough with the skating, it is hard after a long time. We all got the hang of it eventually, okay almost all of us, hahaha. We only had a couple casualties, and they were quite entertaining to watch. I have to say I didn't eat it once, I'm so proud. It was an awesome workout for the legs, but laser tag was more of a workout. I ran around trying my hardest to shoot people and was out of breath. That 10 minutes felt like an eternity. A couple times I wanted to roll under the things you hide behind to be hard core, but I thought if I did that I wouldn't be ablle to get back up. We will definatly be going back, next time bounce houses!

Urrrggghhh Private!
It is unfortunate that I have to do this because I said I wouldn't ever do it, but I have gotten 3 spam comments in one day and it is pissing me off so once I figure out how to go private I will post my last public thing so you can give me e-mail address' now or later. I'm sorry and angry that I even have to do this. Even if you think I don't really know you I will probably add you so just send me your e-mail so I know who you are.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYDEN!
My Jayden bug is 4 today and I can't believe how fast it has gone by and how big he is and is still getting. We are so blessed to have him in our family to help me be patient and belax (his exact words). If you didn't catch that it means relax. He constantly makes me laugh and cry, but we love him for everything he is.

Dinseyland!
WOW! i can't believe it has almost been 2 months since we went to Disneyland, and I am just now blogging about it. We had a lot going on since then and I haven't gotten around to it quite yet. So for our Christmas present from my parents I really wanted to take the kids to Disneyland. Madyson and Payton were still free and I figured we may as well take them. We went for 3 days in November and they were starting to put up a couple Christmas things and on our last day they put up the Christmas tree. The kids had a lot of fun, some of the rides are scary (seriously who make sup this stuff) but overall it was fun. Three days was definitely enough for us and the kids, we headed to Disneyland the first day, California adventure the second day and the third day was James birthday so he got in free and so we had to pick a park so we chose Disneyland again. Jayden's doctor gave us a note to take to the VIP desk when we got there for his ADHD so we got front of the line on everything he went on! It was awesome. We never waited over 5-7 minutes! I know some of you are thinking front of the line for having ADHD but he needed it sometimes that 5 minute wait he was trying to just run on the ride. My mom met us there and we just had a great time spending time together. Thanks again Mom (and dad for letting her come).
The tree they put up in the middle of Disneyland, and me and Payton in front of the tree. Madyson enjoying the carousel and my princess in front of the castle, and the last picture is on the side of the castle and it is snow white and the seven dwarfs. There was a fountain there that sang and the kids threw pennies in it.
Jayden ran through the sprinklers at bugs life and wanted to ride the train so bad, but once we got one he was done.
we didn't see many characters but Madyson saw Cinderella, and they saw California mickey and regular mickey, Pluto and brother bear. I think they saw Tigger and Pooh with my mom but I don't have any pictures.
Jayden loved the tea cups and the carousel. Madyson and him in the toon town car and him surfboarding in California adventure
Jayden got a Captains hat, and he loved the pirates treasure on the island
Payton didn't do a whole lot, he watched and slept and got carried around a lot. He didn't care for the drops on Pirates of the Caribbean.
Madyson was determined to pump that water on the island and she got princess ears which she loves. He also had a good time trying to pull the sword out of the stone. She loved the carousel as well.
Payton got a peter pan hat which I thought was so cute and he got to run around on the island and loved the playhouse Disney show. That was a big hit!
Madyson surfboarding with grandma and just wanted her to go on every ride with her and didn't want to sit with anyone else.Posted by Katie & James Shannon at 2:17 PM 2 comments

Kaysville Hike
I decided to be brave and attempt a hike with Jayden and Madyson by myself since Jayden loves waterfalls and there was some on this hike. I had no idea what I was getting myself into! Madyson cried from the minute we couldn't see the car anymore and wanted me to carry her. Yeah right I could barely carry my own weight let alone hers. Jayden did really well and didn't cry once or ask me to hold him which was nice. The hike was a lot harder than I thought and was about 2 miles round trip. It was up hill the way there and we only made it to the first bridge with a small waterfall which the kids thought was awesome and that was enough for me. They found a friend and a dog while we were there resting. So needless to say I wont be doing that again alone!
