It's about TIME!

Well if you read my blog you get to be the lucky people who know about this first!  We are expecting baby #4 in March 2012, yep I am PREGNANT!!  Since I am officially 8 weeks I decided it would be okay to write it here (since not very many people look at this anyway).  I have told some people and haven't announced anything on facebook yet, so feel loved!  I wanted to try to wait until 12 weeks but yeah right the fact that I knew at 4 weeks and waited until now is a big accomplishment for me.  I went for my first doctors appointment at 6 weeks and saw an itty bitty blob, I go back at 10 weeks again so hopefully I will have a picture to post.  We are so excited and can't wait to find out what we are having (I secretly want another girl).  I have been way more sick than I can remember with the others but who really knows if I have just forgotten.  It is evening sickness not morning sickness, starts anywhere from 2-4 and lasts til about 6-8, fun right?!  We have told the kids and they will ask almost daily when the baby is coming or what kind of baby it is, so this pregnancy will be a LONG one!  No belly shot of ultrasound to go with this post even though I feel like I have a belly, really does that seem fair at 8 WEEKS!!?? And since people complain about seeing a stick you peed on there will be no pictures included in this post, until next time!

Manti Pageant

The smithson's invited us to go camping with them in June and go to the Manti Pageant.  So we left Friday and headed down to camp for the night.  We went to the pageant and watched most of it inbetween trying to get comfortable and getting the kids to relax and watch we got the idea.  We went back to the camp site and went to bed for the night since it was after 11 when we finally made it back.  We woke up had breakfast and then got ready to go to the beach.  We rented a paddle boat and took turns taking the kids for rides and letting them swim in the lake.  It was freezing cold water so I didn't get it, but Madyson and Jayden sure did.  The kids loved going out on the boat.  After about half of the day was gone we headed back home to unpack.

 Manti temple was so pretty

These are from my phone so the quality is not good

Having a good time at the lake

Payton's 3rd BIRTHDAY!!!

My birthday boy turned 3 this year!!! Time has flown by with this kid. We celebrated on Friday the 24th since we were going camping later that day and since his birthday was on a Sunday it worked out better anyway.  We kept it casual and did a no present party and played in the water like last year.  We are so lucky to have such great friends that helped celebrate Payton's day with us.  Tiffany, Derrick, Ashley, Julie, Allie, Carter (and Jake), Erin, Chloe, Kade, Ranae, Ethan, Molly, Marie, Noah, Gwen, Finn, Diana, Gracie, Ryan, Crisit, Lydia, Emma, Amy and Sydnee were ALL there with us and made it a blast.  The kids all did the slip n slide, threw water balloons and went down the slide into the little pool.  Payton requested a watermelon cake (I still don't know where he got the idea) so I did my best to make him one and he LOVED it!  He had such a great time and we couldn't have found a better way to spend his day.

Payton's 3rd Bithday Watermelon cake!

All the kids having a great time

More water fun

It's CAKE time!!!!

The Hogle Zoo with cousins!

Bre, Landon and Savanah came to Utah to visit and while they were here we went to the zoo along with Diana, Gracie, Ryan, Tina, Paisley and Ty.  The kids had a great time.  Right when we got there and headed down the hill the kids saw a zoo keeper holding a snake and Payton went straight for it.  If I remember correctly Jayden, Madyson, Payton and savanah were the only ones who were brave enough to actually touch the snake!  We went on the carousel, watched the bird show (one of the bird landed right in front of us and just walked along the ground, it was so cool) and had a picnic lunch.  We got to see the baby elephant and the brand new little monkeys, which were adorable too.

They had a zoorasic theme going on at the zoo this summer so they had dinosaurs all over that were animated.  And one of them squirted water at the kids and they loved it!

The kids all "rode" the wooden horses

The big elephant squirts water when it sneezes and Jayden wanted to stand right in front of it and it blew water right in his face.  He of course freaked out and I of courses was laughing!

These cousins love each other so much and miss each other, we can't wait until they visit again!

Horse back riding

James has a friend that lives down the road a little that had horses and Madyson loved the idea of riding a Pony.  When we got there and he brought out the horse she said "wow that's a big horse", she was a little scared but after seeing Payton practically run right up and wanting to get on it right away she took a turn and loved it.  Payton wanted to ride the horse forever but he needed to give everyone a turn, even me!  I don;t believe I have ever ridden a horse before and I really liked it.  The kids looked so cute and asked about when we were going to go back to see the horsey!

You can click the collages to see them bigger!

Sledding

I forgot that we went sledding at some point in time, maybe January?  I took Jayden and Madyson and drove towards Huntsville with the Lingwalls, Bates and Gills.  Jayden had a ton of fun and Madyson hated every minute of it.  She was frozen and didn't like sledding at all.  We only stayed for 2 hours which was enough for Madyson and not enough time for Jayden.

Let's hope we are done with snow for awhile!!

It's about time....

I guess after over three months of not updating my blog it's about time.  Not sure how many people actually look at this but for those few that do I guess I will post something.  Not much goes on from Jayden's birthday until you hit Easter.  I know that is sad but what is there to do when it snows or rains all the time.  We have had a couple really nice days outside but when that happens we hurry and play outside and I never have my camera with me.

Payton got his tonsils out the end of January I believe and then we had our first set of stitches on February 20th.  Payton jumped out of his crib onto a dinosaur toy and busted open his chin to his cheek and that required 25+ stitches.  He had a huge hole in his face and the doctor could put his finger inside of it and touch his jaw bone (NASTY).  After 4 hours in the ER and one rough doctor we were done with traumatizing him for the day and were on our way home.

On the topic of Payton he started swim lesson (or survival if you fall in the pool rather) in March and doesn't like to go underwater at all.  He is getting so big and talks so well I forget sometimes that he is only 2 1/2.  He can be a turd, he and Madyson can't play together without fighting it drives me crazy and has stopped napping for me so that doesn't help either!

Madyson just started soccer and plays with Ethan and Chloe on her team.  She has 3 other boys (Keston, Carter and Devin) on her team and they all have so much fun together.  She is so cute playing but isn't very aggressive, although she is good at kicking the ball because she is pigeon toed so that helps.  She is still so tiny she is 4 1/2 and weighs only 29-30 pounds on a good day.  She also learned in January how to write her name, I was so proud!!

Jayden is doing pretty good he is in preschool still at the elementary school and is loving it and can't wait for kindergarten.  He is starting baseball in May and is a little worried about not being good.  He isn't very athletic so it should be interesting to see how he does.  He had to get 2 teeth pulled in March from sucking his thumb which he no longer does!!!!  I couldn't be happier and he also stopped peeing the bed at night!!  Our next goals are tying shoes and riding a bike without training wheels.  Jayden lost his best friend to Wyoming in February and has been sad about it since but we hope to take a road trip in the summer to see Ya-Ya, Tana and Landon.

That's about all that has happened and I hope to have more go on coming up.  We will be having an Easter egg hunt on Friday and Easter on Sunday so that will have a post, and then it should be SUMMER pretty quick!!!!!
